Creative Minds Children’s House was founded in 2019 by Inoka Jayasinghe, a dedicated Montessori educator with over 25 years of experience in early childhood education. Her philosophy blends the Montessori emphasis on independence, hands-on discovery, and self-directed learning with the multidimensional and creative principles of the Reggio Emilia approach.
Together, these philosophies shape our core belief: children learn best when they are given time, thoughtful guidance, and a carefully prepared environment that nurtures curiosity and confidence. Through hands-on materials and self-correcting lessons, children develop independence, critical thinking skills, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our program also intentionally nurtures each child’s “inner child” through enriching experiences that inspire creativity and joy. Baking activities encourage practical life skills and teamwork. Mixed media art allows children to express themselves freely and explore their imagination. Yoga and meditation are beautiful additions to our program structure, supporting mindfulness, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.

Our Programs
Terrific school with highly attentive and very pleasant staff. Program limited to fewer than 15 kids which allows a lot of personal attention for each child. My child has been attending for year and a half, and the life skills/creativity she’s learned has been amazing!
